The monotony of each passing day seems to ironically bring different surprises. You're either going to be greeted by pleasant surprises or rude shocks. No matter what, we've got to take it in our stride and either accept the blessings with open arms and ride out the crisis like a surfer dude would. Life is only as bad as you determine it to be. Make the best out of it while you still have the power to do so.

Lords of Dogtown - The Z-Boys


Caught this show, 'Lords of Dogtown' with Ed and my bro after a really messy jam session in the evening. I've always been amazed by skateboarding, just that I've never been gung-ho enough to really try it. Can't ill afford to break anymore bones, better stick to something less extreme like music and lindy-hop. Haha~

Anyways, this movie chronicles the rise of a bunch of surfer kids who turn to skateboarding when the dry season hits their hometown. Blessed with natural ability and fearlessness, they quickly dominate the skating scene and blows the opposition away... but will they lose their heads when superstardom beckons?
